My son asks how to draw a box the way mommy does and my husband starts teaching a full lesson on perspective and birds eye view vs. worms eye view. Last week I asked him to tie one of the kids' shoes. Ten minutes later I find the kid on the couch crying with only one shoe tied. I asked what happened and he said, "Dad showed me how he tied this one but then he left and I can't remember what he did, Waaaaaa"

Got a love 'em.Ice Creamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10720267761985766740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215073200757285145.post-16108272947819943702008-03-27T17:25:00.000+01:002008-03-27T17:25:00.000+01:00Sounds like fun! And, in response to your comment about preteen boys at my blog (register an e-mail on your Blogger profile page so I can answer you directly!), age eleven or so is when they suddenly cannot hear you. Your voice is so annoying to them, they just block it out. They are practicing to be husbands, I guess.

The good news is that boys respond well to written instructions (they just hate the voice). Girls, however, hate you personally; so they despise written notes as much as verbal instructions.

Not all girls, of course. But, in general, this is the way the chips seem to fall.Suburban Correspondenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11488916572135296650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215073200757285145.post-46199155374657523222008-03-27T17:23:00.000+01:002008-03-27T17:23:00.000+01:00Perhaps he should just start with a little calculu...Perhaps he should just start with a little calculus.Jenn @ Juggling Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14455967210924573398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215073200757285145.post-20934792716021002522008-03-27T17:12:00.000+01:002008-03-27T17:12:00.000+01:00Math was never my favorite subject!Math was never my favorite subject!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00447128976667732712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215073200757285145.post-47599500951003468422008-03-27T16:51:00.000+01:002008-03-27T16:51:00.000+01:00"Oh good luck," I say, running away quickly to put..."Oh good luck," I say, running away quickly to put my head back in the sand that this will ever be our life (LOL).Julie Pipperthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03169574697104642479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215073200757285145.post-1744335983694138042008-03-27T16:35:00.000+01:002008-03-27T16:35:00.000+01:00Poor kid!
