There is amazing tile choices out there. I have a brown, irregular stone tile pattern and I haven't got tired of it and it is 10 years old. Wow... wordy sentence there! lol

For the flooring, I recommend slate tile. I think that is what I am putting in my entryways. Hide a multitude of sins, and a slip-free surface.
