"I'll Take Weekend for $1000, Alex"

A: What you eat when you're stuck indoors for the third weekend in a row, thanks to inclement weather.

Q: What are brownies, muffins, banana bread and scones?

Because, frankly, focusing excessive boy energy on this:

is better than giving them free reign:

But I'm not taking any responsibility for not fitting into my shorts if spring and/or summer ever does decide to arrive.

You know who's to blame!

"excessive boy energy' Whew! I know what you mean there...I hope for YOUR sake that spring does decide to roll around soon! And scones...my mouth is watering, Yum! I would love to know how to make my own. i always have to rely on Atlanta Bread Co. or Starbucks for a great scone.

...that would be their pants on their heads, and yes, their shirts on their legs. What? You don't think that's hysterically funny? :)

How did you keep the camera steady enough to take the picture? That is such a riot!

According to my boys (ages 10 and 5 1/2), the only thing funnier would be underwear on their heads...mom and daddy's underwear on their heads would make them snort milk out their noses!!!
If I were eating all that good yummy stuff, I'd weigh 500 pounds!!! But of course, with 2 boys to chase after.....

May clear skies and nice weather be what you wake up to tomorrow!!!

TOO CUTE!!!! I remember those days.

But wait - teenagers still make snacks when they are bored. I found the remnants of a midnight green jello making safari in my kitchen this morning. And a 6'3" 195 pound 18 year old walked through here wrapped in a towel a minute ago looking for a work shirt. Wasn't quite as cute.

Ah, well.

Looking at those scrawyn little frames, I would say you don't have much to worry about. :-)

Funny!

Pants on the head, shirts on the bottom. Looks about right to me. LOL.

I was laughing when I saw that picture. My son does things like that. With two boys, I'm sure things get even more silly since they have each other as an audience. All the baking sounds delicious.

You've definitely started a dangerous practice. I can't buy enough butter, flour, chocolate chips, and Baker's chocolate for the cookies and brownies Danger Boy turns out.

I hope he marries a woman with a good metabolism one day!

Spring is bound to arrive sooner or later!

You have my deepest sympathy - stuck indoors with 2 lively lads for the 3rd weekend... I only ever had to deal with one...
Good luck on the baked goods!

Oh, ya. You definitely had no other choice but baking! We had a few flakes here today, but thankfully nothing stuck. Flippin' "spring."

Spring, WHERE ARE YOU? Look what you're doing to these boys - forcing them to be all creative like this! :)

My boys baked this weekend too, birthday cake;)
Looks like fun, in spite of the yucky weather.
Have a fabulous week!

I've got 2 boys with lots of boy energy! I sympathise! And I DO think the pants on head, shirts on their bottoms is hysterically funny. I'm still chuckling at them. Frame that photo immediately, I say!

thanks to inclement weather almost every weekend, I'm sure I won't fit into anything this summer!

You ought to be able to bottle all that cuteness and make a gazillion dollars.

Better towels on their head than dirty underwear.
