Postcard from Yorkshire

We've climbed Harrogate trees...

...and Brimham rocks...

We've admired Ripon Cathedral in the sunshine...

...but decided we like the Fountain Abbey ruins better...

We've mini putted...

'

...and pitched the real thing...

Tomorrow we're off to the coast. Fingers crossed that the rain stays AWAY.

Fountain Abbey looks like an amazing place to visit. For some reason, I've always liked ruins better than whole buildings. I'm enjoying visiting England vicariously through you. Keep the pictures coming!

Looks like it was a lovely day. Hopefully, the Englishmen stopped watching the telly and joined in the fun.

My husband spent a year in York when he was 14. One day he'll take me there and show me the sights. Looks LOVELY.

Up until now, when I heard the word Yorkshire, I just thought of those cute dogs by the same name :P These photos are beautiful and now I have something else in my mind to reference when I hear about Yorkshire. Have fun on the coast!

A new adventure every day. Oh Heidi, you are building such cool memories for your kids.

I love traveling with you Heidi.
This slow Nordic leavetkaing and transition is teaching your kids plenty about looking forward, making the best of things, and grabbing every moment. You are one smart cookie.....

Please adopt me, Heidi. I'll hold *two* umbrellas for you if it should indeed rain. *grin*

Lovely photos, as always!!

Oh wow!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!! The cathedral is awesome, but the ruins are breathtaking. I mean, you can almost visualize the living history . . .

Hope you had a clear day at the coast!

The Fountain Abbey ruins look amazing! I love that you have such great adventures. Sometimes I wish we could live in Germany when the Little Mister is a bit older, so we can do stuff like that. Oh well...we're enjoying the time we have. :)
