Skies are on the roof rack, the bags are in the trunk. We'll pick up groceries on the way. All there's left to do now is wait for the boys to come home from school.
Oh, enjoy your weekend!! Someday I'll ski again. These days trying to figure out how to keep my baby from *screaming* is my adventure. ;)
(It's not an angry sort of sound. It's just as loud as he can and as high-pitched as he can...just to hear himself. At first it was cute. But it grates when I have a migraine... Anyway, motherhood truly is an adventure!!)
Have a great time at the cottage this weekend, Heidi! How about if I meet all of you there :)? I'm sure that Canada is lovely; I've never been there--but how are you ever going to make yourselves leave Norway? Such beauty; I really need to find my way there sometime...sigh...
Wow. That is a lot of snow. I miss the snow. I keep saying that. My husband and I are going up north in a couple of weeks and I REALLY hope it snows while we are up there. Although, there will be no skiing for me. Skiing and I don't agree. I think I should glide down the hill effortlessly and Skiing thinks I would be better off laying face down with a mouth full of snow. Go figure.
Have I told you lately how incredibly jealous I am. lol We just planned a ski weekend - but with our hectic schedules, we won't make it to Tahoe until sometime in March!
And you seriously made your boys stay in school all day? I must have a terrible work ethic, because I have been known to pull my girls out early on a Friday "just because." And I'm the woman who told our school principal that my girls would be missing 2.5 days of school because of our spring break plans. (Hey, England is more important than school work, I tell you.)
Have a great weekend! I had the great pleasure of visiting Norway in 1985 and fell in love with the majestic beauty and the people. I remember the Fjords, a viking ship museum, (I think the raft made of balsa wood was there also--Kon-Tiki?), and the Vigeland (sp?) park with all the statues depicting the circle of life.
Fascinating. Yours will definitely be a daily blog to read!

You published this photo the same day I made fun of our reaction here to 20 minutes of sleet. Perfect!
