I know! Can I just say HUH? I am worried that they're just going to end this without answering all the questions I have (probably because they don't have all the answers yet) which would be devestating! Because let's face it, Thursday night at 10PM (or whenever your episode ends), these people are more important than my family. Yes I am THAT invested:)
I keep counting them to see who made it out alive. they're the SIX survivors right? So that's Kate, Hurley, Aaron, Jack, Syid and Ben. What happened to everyone else? Two died, was Claire one? Who was the other one?
Why is Jack and Kate relationship so annoying to me? lol. The do so much teary eyed staring...drives me insane!
Shay: Are they even counting Aaron? I suppose they would be...and what Jack said in the courtroom about there being only eight survivors after the crash...that was a lie. Does that mean that they've left others alive on the island, and promised to keep their existence a secret???
Mary Beth: I KNOW. It's frightening how absorbed I am in this show...:)
I know!! I am so confused... and intrigued. I think Claire must have gotten killed somehow because I don't think Kate would have taken him for any other reason...
I'm anxious for the end of the show so everything will be explained but at the same time, want it to never end because it's so good.
so i'm thinking everyone but those six died wretched horrible deaths that are somehow jack's fault (he can be such a baby sometimes) and thats all that's left.
I think that Claire wasn't allowed to leave for some reason and so Kate claimed to the people taking them off the island that Aaron was hers, so he wouldn't have to stay there. Because there's no reason for Kate to have Aaron if Claire is dead, you know? And Jack won't come see Aaron because Jack is tormented with guilt over what happened to have everyone else left on the island.
I agree with beck--I think Claire allowed Aaron to be taken off the island--at least I HOPE this is the case. At first I thought that Kate had stolen Aaron, or killed Claire, and I hope that's not the case. But then again, remember Jack said at Kate's trial that he no longer loved her? Maybe it's because she did something really terrible...
I agree that Claire is not dead...but did she want to stay behind or was she forced to stay behind? If she was forced to stay behind, why aren't the people who made it back to the US trying to save her (and the rest of the survivors still on the island)?
And the whole pregnancy/pregnant women dying thing: Since Aaron was an anomaly on the island - the only baby - is that why he had to be saved? Does 'the island' want a baby? And is 'Jacob' the spirit of the island?
I am with Amy, worrying that they are not going to be able to answer all of these questions satisfactorily...
All right, based on the look that Kate had on her face as she held Aaron that somehow taking him off the island was a condition for her also getting off.
I think that is why Jack can't stand it because he knows that Claire is still on the island. Thus the drunken "We have to go back, Kate" stuff at the last season's finale and why she didn't want to.
BTW, I predicted to Hubba-hubba that Kate's "baby" was Aaron midway through the ep.
This tiny comment section is no nearly big enough to give a proper answer. :) I just watch every week and expect at the end of the episode to let out a long roar of frustration when the episode ends and I have absolutely no idea what just happened. And all I can tell you about Jacob is that he gives me the heeby-jeebies....just like Ben! I am so bummed there will only be another year and then it will end. I LOVE this show!! :)
I myself wonder about Desmond's vision -- he claims to have seen Claire and Aaron get on a helicopter. Of course, he never said that he saw the helicopter take off with both of them on board. Sooo. Was his vision wrong? Or merely incomplete? I would hate for Charlie's death to have been in vain.
I end each show filled with far more questions than answers!
Yes Aaron is one of the 6. Here's what some insiders had to say about the episode: Why is Jack avoiding Aaron? Well, we know that Claire and Jack have a father in common. Or at least it appeared that way in the Claire-centric flashback (I am learning to take nothing for granted in the Lost universe.) But Jack has not yet learned of his connection to Claire in island time. Does future Jack know that Claire is his sister? Based on Claire’s fierce maternal instincts, as well as the warning she had previously received from the psychic, it is difficult to believe she would have willingly handed Aaron over while remaining behind on the island. So does Claire die? And if so, does Jack learn his connection to her at some point? And if he does, is Jack’s reluctance coming from his grief over Claire or guilt that he couldn’t help her or both?
yeah, and can you explain everything that happened before that to the beginning of time and everything that happened after that until just now. please? then i'll be all caught up.
I know!! WTF?! So Claire dies/gets left behind due to Jack (her half brother, right?) not being able to "save her"...so he can't face his (half?) nephew Aaron.

okay you really got me now!
Beats me. I think I am the last person left in the developed world who has never seen even one episode of reality TV.

I KNOW!!! I screamed at the tv. My husband, who was soundly asleep, did not appreciate it, nor did he care that Aaron wasn't Kate's baby. UGH!!!
Gaw!
We haven't seen it since Season 2, because we didn't have Sky TV. We're going to have to rent the d*mn series, because I miss it!

Am I good or what? ;)

NOT READING THIS NOT READING THIS. We just returned from a trip and I my beloved LOST waiting on our DVR as soon as the kiddos are in bed!
I am so lost about lost. I think that makes me a loser.
Whu? Like mamageek, I'm lost about Lost.
I'm SO lost about it too!
And remember the last episode of the season? Where they visited a burial? And someone was dead and Jack said that is was not his friend?

Sorry--NOT a Lostie. However, I couldn't just NOT say anything!
