Making It Work

The boys are beyond excited that their cousins are staying for the weekend. Dinner tonight is their favourite:

I'm just as thrilled that the kitchen is too small to fit all of us:

I hope you have a romantic dinner.I am sure you will have a lot of interruptions but you can always dream.
Your table looks great and so does their dinner.

Oh, that looks so romantic. Lovely! But, were the boys in the other room or did you wait until they were fast asleep. That makes all the difference in the world! :)

I LOVE the new header pic! That is absolutely gorgeous! WOW!

I finally have my appetite back after drinking that hideous poison for the test - put out another plate, I'm coming for dinner!!

Yes, Heidi, I will be joining Hallie in joining YOU for dinner...HAHA! Beautiful table! But the boys don't look like they're doing too bad, either! Have a wonderful weekend.

That's horrible that you and your husband have to share a quiet, intimate, candlelit dinner instead of spending quality time with adolescent boys. You may miss seeing seeing the inevitable noodle sucked in as the sauce rolls down the chin. Oh, the tragedy that you can't join them. I feel your pain.

What a nice reprieve. And what a nice candleholder!

I guess I need a way smaller table in my dining room to get me one of those romantic evenings - I need one of those.

Enjoy - I'll see you soon. Kellan

Oh, Heidi.... NICE!!!
It's great as the kids get older and can entertain themselves and each other that some well deserved couple time can be had... while the boys are still on the premises.

Beautiful new header, BTW.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Yeah! Little kitchens let the grown-ups have their own table! Horray for that!

And the new photo of the Norweigan sky is breathtaking! Wow!

Ah! Cozy versus intimate!
Cheers
[and yes, same family, so I've learned my lesson.]
